This is a Travel position. You must live more than 30 miles from the facility to be considered for this position.

Operating Room Surgical Technologist Position Overview
Main OR - Operating Room Surgical Tech
Schedule
  • 12 hour shifts
  • D/E/N Rotating Shift Schedules
  • Can also accommodate 48 hours/week
Job Duties
  • Care for a wide variety of patients
  • Work with multiple specialties including orthopedics, general surgery, plastics, urology, cardiac, neuro, vascular, ophthalmic, GYN, ENT, thoracic, oral-maxillofacial, and trauma (level 1 trauma center)
  • Support procedures using 2 Davinci robots utilized by multi-services
  • Participate in transplant program involving livers, kidneys, and hearts
Job Requirements
  • NBSTSA Certification or 10 years of experience as a Surgical Technician
  • Two (2) years Experience OR experience in a level 1 trauma preferred
  • Able to scrub and circulate
Certification(s)
  • BLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
Required Skills
  • NY License ONLY
  • BLS Certification (American Heart Association ONLY)
  • Two (2) Years Experience
  • OR experience in a level 1 trauma preferred and able to scrub preferred
