Position Overview

Description:
Operating Room Surgical Technologist Position Overview
- Main OR Operating Room Surgical Tech position
- 12-hour shift with D/E/N rotating shift schedules
- 48 hours per week schedule accommodation available
- Care for a wide variety of patients across multiple specialties
- Specialties include orthopedics, general surgery, plastics, urology, cardiac, neuro, vascular, ophthalmic, GYN, ENT, thoracic, oral-maxillofacial, and trauma
- Level 1 trauma center designation
- 2 DaVinci robots utilized by multi-services
- Comprehensive transplant program involving livers, kidneys, and hearts
- NBSTSA Certification or 10 years of experience as a Surgical Technician
- Two (2) years experience OR experience in a level 1 trauma preferred
- Able to scrub and circulate
- BLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
- Tech License (NY License ONLY)
- Two (2) Years Experience - Required
- OR experience in a level 1 trauma preferred and able to scrub preferred - Required
- BLS Certification (American Heart Association ONLY) - Required
- Tech License (NY License ONLY) - Required
