Description:
Surgical Technologist - Main Operating Room Shift Details
- 12-hour shifts, Day/Evening/Night Rotating Schedule
- Can also accommodate 48 hours per week
- Main OR position serving a wide variety of patients
- Specialties include orthopedics, general surgery, plastics, urology, cardiac, neuro, vascular, ophthalmic, GYN, ENT, thoracic, oral-maxillofacial, and trauma
- Level 1 Trauma Center designation
- Two Da Vinci robots utilized across multiple services
- Active transplant program covering livers, kidneys, and hearts
- NBSTSA Certification or 10 years of experience as a Surgical Technician
- Minimum two (2) years of experience required
- Operating room experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center preferred
- Must be able to scrub
- BLS certification — American Heart Association only
- NBSTSA Tech License (NY License ONLY) or 10 years of experience
- NBSTSA Tech License (NY License ONLY) or 10 years of experience — Required
- BLS Certification (American Heart Association ONLY) — Required
- Minimum two (2) years of experience — Required
- Operating room experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center — Highly Desired
- Able to scrub — Required
