Pay Rate: $47.21 per hour

About the Role
In this school-based role, you will:- Interpret classroom lessons, activities, and routines using appropriate sign language
- Support student participation in classroom and school activities
- Adjust communication style based on student’s age and developmental level
- Collaborate closely with teachers, special education teams, and families
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school district and state standards
What We're Looking For- Associate’s Degree in Educational Interpreting or a related field from an accredited program

Must have EIPA score or have completed the IDHHC Interpreter Test with score in hand

Must have ISBE (Illinois State Board of Education) approval - District will assist in completing the approval process if needed
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a passion for equitable education
