Description:
Pediatric Psychiatric RN - Child & Adolescent Unit Shift Details
- 3x12-hour shifts
- 36 or 48 hours per week
- Day/Evening/Night rotating shift schedule
- Includes weekends, holidays, and on-call per unit need
- Child and adolescent inpatient psychiatric unit serving patients ages 5-18 experiencing acute mental health crises
- Unit focus is on stabilization through robust group offerings, including Activities Therapy, Mindfulness, Wellness, and Coping Skills groups, as well as psychopharmacological interventions
- RNs work with a multidisciplinary team to meet patient goals and provide safe, effective, and therapeutic care
- Ideal for candidates with a passion for pediatric psychiatry
- NYS RN License
- 2 years of pediatric mental health experience
- BLS certification (American Heart Association only)
- CPI Blue Card
- Experience in a large, academic medical center
- RN License (NY License only) - Required
- Two (2) years of experience - Required
- BLS (American Heart Association only) - Required
- Telemetry - Nice to have
