This is a RN Travel position. You must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be considered for this position.

Description:
Cardiac OR - Operating Room | Registered Nurse Shift Details
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
- 3x12 shift structure
- The Adult Cardiac OR cares for a wide variety of patients
- Case types include CABGs, TAVIs, and Heart Failure cases (VADs, ECMO, Artificial Heart, and Heart Transplants)
- Staff utilizes a multidisciplinary approach to care for patients of all ages
- Ability to independently scrub and circulate complex adult cardiac cases
- Cases may include CABGs, structural heart cases (Bentall), minimally invasive procedures (Mini Aortic Valve Replacement), and heart failure cases (Impella)
- Transplant and TAVI/TAVR experience preferred but not required
- RN License (NY License ONLY)
- Minimum two (2) years of experience required
- Operating room experience in a Level 1 Trauma center preferred
- Able to circulate and scrub
- Telemetry preferred as long as the healthcare provider has ACLS
- BLS - American Heart Association ONLY
- ACLS - American Heart Association ONLY
- RN License (NY License ONLY) - Required
- BLS Certification (American Heart Association ONLY) - Required
- Two (2) years of experience - Required
- Operating room experience in a Level 1 Trauma center - Highly Desired
- Able to scrub and circulate - Required
- ACLS Certification (American Heart Association ONLY) - Required
- Telemetry - Required
