Description:
Medical/Surgical RN - Behavioral Health Co-Morbid Unit Shift Details
- 3x12-hour shifts
- Rotating Day/Evening/Night schedules
- Weekends, holidays, on-call, callback, and charge duties per unit needs
- 48 hours billed at regular time will be considered
- A unique adult medical/surgical unit — one of only a handful of similar units in the country
- Specializes in caring for patients with active co-morbid psychiatric and/or behavioral issues
- An expanding unit looking for flexible, enthusiastic, and committed nurses to help it grow
- Nurses are eligible for dual-certification in both medical/surgical nursing and psychiatric nursing after the experience requirement is attained
- Willingness to care for a varied patient population in a changing environment
- Med/surg acute care experience is a plus
- RN License — New York State only
- Minimum 2 years of medical/surgical RN experience
- Psychiatry/psychology experience required
- Telemetry experience required
- BLS — American Heart Association (AHA) only
