Description:
Registered Nurse - Child & Adolescent Psychiatric Unit Shift Details
- 36 or 48 hours per week
- Day/Evening/Night rotation
- Weekends and holidays required
- On-call per unit need
- Child and adolescent inpatient psychiatric unit serving patients ages 5-18
- Focuses on stabilization for patients experiencing acute mental health crises
- Robust group therapy offerings including Activities Therapy, Mindfulness, Wellness, and Coping Skills groups
- Psychopharmacological interventions are a key component of care
- RNs collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to meet patient goals and provide safe, effective, and therapeutic care
- Ideal for candidates with a passion for pediatric psychiatry
- NYS RN License
- Minimum 2 years of pediatric mental health experience
- BLS certification (American Heart Association only)
- CPI Blue Card
- Experience in a large, academic medical center
- RN License (NY State only) - Required
- Two (2) years of experience - Required
- BLS (American Heart Association only) - Required
- Telemetry - Nice to have
