Description:
Operating Room RN - Ophthalmology (4x10 | Days | New York) Shift Details
- 4x10-hour shifts per week
- 40 hours per week
- Primarily Monday through Friday, day shift
- On-call responsibilities for evenings, nights, and weekends
- Using a multidisciplinary approach, OR staff cares for patients of all ages in both scrub and circulating roles within an ophthalmology operating room
- RN License (New York state license ONLY)
- Two (2) years of operating room experience in a Level 1 trauma facility (preferred)
- Able to scrub and circulate
- Experience with cataracts, retina, glaucoma, cornea, and pediatrics required
- BLS — American Heart Association ONLY (required)
- ACLS (preferred)
- RN License (NY License ONLY) — Required
- BLS Certification (American Heart Association ONLY) — Required
- Two (2) years of experience in the operating room — Required
- Able to scrub and circulate — Required
- Experience with cataracts, retina, glaucoma, cornea, and pediatrics — Required
- Level 1 trauma hospital experience — Highly Desired
- ACLS — Highly Desired
