Description:
Cardiac OR - Operating Room | Registered Nurse Shift Details
- 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
- 3x12 schedule
- The Adult Cardiac OR cares for a wide variety of patients
- Case types include CABGs, TAVIs, and Heart Failure (VADs, ECMO, Artificial Heart, and Heart Transplants)
- Care is provided using a multidisciplinary approach for patients of all ages
- Ability to independently scrub and circulate complex adult cardiac cases, which may include:
- CABGs
- Structural heart cases (Bentall)
- Minimally invasive procedures (Mini Aortic Valve Replacement)
- Heart failure cases (Impella)
- Transplant and TAVI/TAVR experience preferred but not required
- RN License (NY License ONLY)
- Two (2) years of experience
- Operating room experience in a Level 1 trauma center - preferred
- Able to circulate and scrub
- Telemetry
- BLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
- ACLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
- RN License (NY License ONLY) - Required
- BLS Certification (American Heart Association ONLY) - Required
- Two (2) years of experience - Required
- Operating room experience in a Level 1 trauma center - Highly Desired
- Able to scrub and circulate - Required
- ACLS Certification (American Heart Association ONLY) - Required
- Telemetry - Required
