Description:
RN - BMT Outpatient Infusion (Stem Cell Transplant & Cellular Therapy) Position Overview
- Registered Nurse role within a fast-paced and growing Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) Outpatient Infusion setting
- Focused on the Stem Cell Transplant and Cellular Therapy patient population
- Minimum of 2 years of acute care experience required
- 36 or 40 hours per week
- Primarily weekdays with weekend and holiday rotation per unit policy
- Shift options: 4x10-hour shifts or 3x9-hour shifts
- Provide clinical care, coordination, and patient education to the Stem Cell Transplant and Cellular Therapy patient population
- Administer chemotherapy, blood products, donor leukocytes, and CAR-T product infusions
- Work as part of a collaborative team
- Apply independent critical thinking and multitasking skills in day-to-day practice
- Active RN license (New York state only)
- Recent acute care experience required
- Hematology/Oncology experience (minimum 2 years) required
- ONC (Oncology) Certification required
- BLS Certification (American Heart Association only)
- Telemetry experience required
- Strong communication skills
- Flexibility in a fast-paced environment
- Independent critical thinking ability
- Ability to multitask effectively
