Description:
Neuro Medicine ICU - Registered Nurse
Shift: 3x12 | Day/Evening/Night Rotation | Holidays, On-Call, Callback, and Charge per Unit Needs
Unit Overview
- Medical/Surgical Intensive Care Unit with a primary focus on the critically ill neurological patient
- Patients require a high degree of specialized nursing and medical care
- Patient diagnoses include traumatic brain injury, aneurysm, status epilepticus, stroke, and other critical neurologic pathologies
- Brand new, state-of-the-art 12-bed ICU
Job Requirements
- RN License (NY License ONLY)
- Minimum two (2) years of RN experience with ICU acute care experience
- Demonstrates strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to remain current in knowledge of critical care
- Telemetry experience required
Required Certifications
- BLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
- ACLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
- NIHSS
