This is a RN Travel position. You must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be considered for this position.

Description:
Registered Nurse - Neurological Unit (Telemetry) Shift Details
- 3x12-hour shifts
- Rotating shift schedules (Days, Evenings, Nights)
- Weekends and Holidays required
- On-Call / Callback per unit needs
- Charge nurse responsibilities per unit needs
- 48 hours per week billed at regular time (rotational shift) will be considered
- An exciting opportunity on a specialized neurological unit
- Excellent environment to learn about various neurological diseases while utilizing nursing and critical thinking skills
- Fast-paced unit caring for patients with stroke, epilepsy, Multiple Sclerosis, Guillain Barré Syndrome, and more
- Joint Commission accredited Comprehensive Stroke Center
- The only Level 4 Epilepsy Monitoring Unit in the region
- Works with a specialty team to evaluate, diagnose, and treat seizures using state-of-the-art continuous video EEG technology
- Serves many acute and complex patients
- Collaborative multidisciplinary team that values nurses' skills, talents, and compassion
- RN License (NY License ONLY)
- Minimum two (2) years of experience
- Telemetry experience required
- BLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
- NIHSS certification
