Description:
Neuro Medicine ICU - Registered Nurse Shift Details
- 3 x 12-hour shifts
- Day/Evening/Night Rotation
- Holidays, On-Call, Callback, and Charge duties per unit needs
- Medical/Surgical Intensive Care Unit with a primary focus on the critically ill neurological patient
- Patients require a high degree of specialized nursing and medical care
- Patient diagnoses include traumatic brain injury, aneurysm, status epilepticus, stroke, and other critical neurologic pathologies
- Brand new, state-of-the-art 12-bed ICU
- RN License (NY License ONLY)
- Minimum two (2) years RN experience with ICU acute care
- Demonstrates strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to remain current in knowledge of critical care
- Telemetry experience required
- BLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
- ACLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
- NIHSS
