Description:
Medical/Surgical RN - Behavioral Health Co-Management Unit Shift Details
- 3x12-hour shifts
- Rotating Day/Evening/Night schedules
- Weekends, Holidays, On-Call, Callback, and Charge duties per unit needs
- 48 hours billed at regular time will be considered
- Unique opportunity to join a one-of-a-kind unit — only a handful of similar units exist in the country
- Adult medical/surgical unit serving patients with active co-morbid psychiatric and/or behavioral issues
- Expanding unit seeking flexible, enthusiastic, and committed nurses
- Willingness to care for a varied patient population in a changing environment is a must
- Nurses are eligible for dual-certification in both medical/surgical nursing and psychiatric nursing after experience requirement is attained
- RN License — New York State only
- Minimum 2 years of medical/surgical experience
- Psychiatry/psychology experience required
- Telemetry experience required
- BLS — American Heart Association only
