Position Overview

Description:
OB Registered Nurse Schedule
- 12-hour shifts
- 4 days per week
- All rotating shift schedules
- Provide direct care to antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum (high, moderate, and low risk) patients in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team in labor and delivery
- Demonstrate good communication skills and the ability to prioritize and problem solve in a fast-paced environment
- Maintain a commitment to patient and family centered care
- Orient and train to various competencies, modes of care, and delivery across the OB service
- Float among units to meet variable needs of volume and acuity — an ongoing expectation of all OB/GYN nurses
- RN License (NY ONLY)
- At least two (2) years of experience in labor and delivery
- OR and triage experience highly desired
- BLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
- Neonatal Resuscitation — Required
