Description:
Interventional Radiology Nurse Shift Details
- Schedule: 4x10-hour shifts
- Hours: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM
- BLS
- ACLS
- Minimum 2 years of experience
- Prepare patients for interventional radiology procedures by conducting thorough assessments and explaining procedures to alleviate anxiety
- Assist with the setup of imaging equipment such as CT scanners and facilitate sterile technique during invasive procedures
- Administer medications including IV infusions, sedation, or Botulinum toxin treatments following physician orders
- Monitor patient vital signs continuously during procedures and respond promptly to any adverse changes
- Support post-procedure recovery by assessing patient status, managing pain, and providing discharge instructions
