Position Overview

Description:
Cardiac Catheterization Lab RN - Upstate New York About the Unit
- Inpatient and outpatient procedural lab environment focused on mechanical and electrical diagnosis and intervention for cardiac patients in the upstate New York region
- 4 Cath Labs and 3 EP Labs caring for both adult and pediatric patients across a wide range of conditions
- Comprehensive program including a pre- and post-procedural care holding area
- Practice model rich with RN staff and CVT collaboration, with a strong focus on excellent patient outcomes and satisfaction
- Preferred schedule: 36 hours per week
- Schedule options: 4x10-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM) or 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM)
- Weekends, holidays, on-call, callback, and charge responsibilities per unit needs
- Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience
- BLS certification (AHA)
- ACLS certification (AHA)
- Moderate sedation trained
- Dysrhythmia knowledge
- Telemetry experience
- Active RN License - New York State only

Mechanical Circulatory Support:
- ECMO
- Impella
- IABP
- ProtekDuo
- LVAD
Additional Required Experience:
- Critical care or cardiac experience required
- Cardiovascular certified or RCES preferred
- Familiarity with device and ablation procedures and equipment
- EP Lab experience
