Description:
Cardiac Catheterization Lab RN - Upstate New York Position Overview
- Inpatient and outpatient procedural lab environment focused on mechanical and electrical diagnosis and intervention for cardiac patients
- Serves the upstate New York region
- Facility includes 4 Cath Labs and 3 EP Labs
- Cares for both adult and pediatric patients across a wide range of cardiac conditions
- Comprehensive program includes pre- and post-procedural care holding area
- Practice model features RN staff working in collaboration with CVTs, with a focus on excellent patient outcomes and satisfaction
- Preference for 36 hours per week
- Shift options: 4x10 hours (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM) or 3x12 hours (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM)
- Weekends, holidays, on-call, callback, and charge duties per unit needs
- Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience
- BLS certification (AHA)
- ACLS certification (AHA)
- Moderate sedation trained
- Dysrhythmia experience
- Telemetry experience
- RN License - New York State license only
- Critical care or cardiac experience required

- TAVR, MitraClip, and Watchman
- Right Heart and Left Heart Hemodynamics
- Cardiac Interventions, CTO, PCI
- Pericardiocentesis
- Vascular Interventions
- RotoPro
- LVADs
- AngioVac

Mechanical Circulatory Support (Required):
- ECMO
- Impella
- IABP
- ProtekDuo
- LVAD
Structural Heart Experience (Required):
- TAVR
- MitraClip
- Watchman
- CardioMEMS
- PFO, ASD, VSD
- Valvuloplasty
- ASA (Alcohol Septal Ablation)
- Cardiovascular certification or RCES preferred
- Familiarity with device and ablation procedures and equipment
- EP Lab experience
