Description:
Cardiac OR RNFA - Travel Nursing Opportunity Shift Details
- Shift structure: 3x12-hour shifts
- 36 or 48 hours per week available
- Primarily weekdays, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM
- On-call responsibilities per unit need
- Cardiac OR RNFA role within an active cardiac surgical program
- RNFA must be able to assist with chest exposure and closing
- RNFA must be able to independently perform vein harvesting for CABGs
- Preferred, but not required: ability to first assist in DaVinci robotic cases
- Preferred, but not required: ability to scrub and circulate complex cardiac cases, which may include:
- CABGs
- Structural heart cases (e.g., Bentall)
- Minimally invasive procedures (e.g., Mini Aortic Valve Replacement)
- Heart failure cases (e.g., Impella)
- Heart transplants are performed at this facility; experience in heart transplant is preferred
- Minimum 2 years of cardiac RNFA experience
- Active New York State (NYS) RN license — NY license only
- BLS Certification — American Heart Association only
- ACLS Certification — American Heart Association only
- CNOR Certification
- Telemetry experience
