$2,268 Weekly Pay | 15-Week Assignment | Finger Lakes Region, NY

Assignment Length: 15 Weeks
Hours: Full-time, 36 hours plus weekend/holiday on call rotation required
Hourly Rate: $63 per hour
Weekly Gross Pay: $2,268 per week

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Operating Room (OR), Pre-Post, and PACU Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will deliver high-quality, compassionate care to patients across the surgical continuum — from pre-op preparation to PACU recovery.
You’ll work closely with an interdisciplinary healthcare team, float between facilities, and provide patient education to promote healing and self-care beyond hospitalization.
Key Responsibilities

?Deliver direct patient care to adult, adolescent, and geriatric populations in OR, Pre-Post, and PACU settings

Assess patient needs, develop individualized care plans, and coordinate treatment with the care team

Administer medications and perform specialized perioperative interventions

Provide patient and family education to ensure understanding of care plans and post-discharge instructions

Advocate for patients’ health, safety, and rights while maintaining a healing, supportive environment

Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and support staff to ensure safe and effective care delivery

Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and responses

Participate in quality improvement initiatives and engage in ongoing professional development

Comply with all infection prevention strategies and safety protocols
Requirements
-
Active and unencumbered New York State RN license

Minimum 2 years of recent OR / PACU / Pre-Post experience

Strong critical thinking, prioritization, and communication skills

Flexibility to float between different facilities

Basic Life Support (BLS)

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
