Description:
Position Overview
- Schedule: 36 or 40 hours per week, days, 10 or 12 hours shifts, with on-call for weekends and nights
- Join a dedicated team that provides moderate sedation in a fast-paced procedural area to care for patients undergoing preventative and interventional stroke care
- Responsibilities include intraoperative moderate sedation and circulating when not providing moderate sedation
- Administer moderate sedation, closely monitor the patient's cardiac and physical status, and collaborate with the physician to ensure safety, comfort, and privacy
- BLS, ACLS, telemetry, and the ability to administer and monitor conscious sedation independently are required
- RN License (NY License ONLY)
- Moderate Sedation Experience Required
- IR Experience Required
- Two (2) years Experience OR experience in a level 1 trauma preferred
- Telemetry
- Circulate ONLY
- BLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
- ACLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
