This is a RN Travel position. You must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be considered for this position.

Position Overview

Description:
Cardiac OR RNFA Position Position Overview
- 36 or 48 hours per week
- Primarily weekdays 7a-7p and 11a-11p
- On call responsibilities per unit need
- Cardiac RNFA must be able to assist with chest exposure and closing
- Independently perform vein harvesting for CABGs
- Preferred but not required to first assist in DaVinci robotic cases
- Preferred but not required be able to scrub and circulate complex cardiac cases which may include CABGs, structural heart cases (i.e. Bentall), minimally invasive procedures (i.e. Mini Aortic Valve Replacement), and heart failure cases (i.e. Impella)
- Heart transplants are also performed and experience in heart transplant is preferred
- 2 years of cardiac RNFA experience
- AHA BLS and ACLS
- NYS RN license
- CNOR certification
- Telemetry
- RN License (NY License ONLY) - Required
- BLS Certification (American Heart Association ONLY) - Required
- Two (2) Years Experience - Required
- ACLS Certification (American Heart Association ONLY) - Required
- CNOR Certification - Required
- Telemetry - Required
