Description:
Specialized Neurological Unit - Registered Nurse Schedule Details
- 3x12.0 hour shifts
- Rotating shift schedules
- Weekends and holidays
- On-call/callback responsibilities
- Charge per unit needs
- 48 hours straight time consideration
- An exciting opportunity awaits as you start your career on a specialized neurological unit
- Excellent unit to learn about various neurological diseases while utilizing your nursing and critical thinking skills
- Work with interdisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment caring for patients with stroke, epilepsy, Multiple Sclerosis, Guillain Barre Syndrome and more
- Joint Commission accredited Comprehensive Stroke Center
- The only Level 4 Epilepsy Monitor Unit in the region
- See many acute and complex patients
- Work with specialty team to evaluate, diagnose, and treat seizures using state-of-the-art continuous video EEG technology
- Work closely with multidisciplinary team that values nurses' skills, talents, and compassion for patient population
- Telemetry experience required
- RN License (NY License ONLY)
- Two (2) years experience
- BLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
- NIHSS certification highly preferred
