Position Overview
Type of Position: Travel
Description:
Operating Room Nurse - Ophthalmology Position Overview
- 36 hours per week
- Primarily Monday - Friday days with on call responsibilities for evenings, nights and weekends
- 3x12.0 shift structure
- Using a multidisciplinary approach, the OR staff cares for patients of all ages in both scrub and circulating roles for ophthalmology operating room
- RN License (NY state license ONLY)
- Two (2) years operating room experience in a level 1 trauma preferred
- Able to scrub and circulate
- Experience with cataracts, retina, glaucoma, cornea, and pediatrics required
- BLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
- ACLS (PREFERRED)
- RN License (NY License ONLY) - Required
- BLS Certification (American Heart Association ONLY) - Required
- Two (2) Years Experience in operating room - Required
- Level 1 trauma hospital experience - Highly desired
- ACLS (Preferred) - Highly desired
- Able to scrub and circulate - Required
- Experience with cataracts, retina, glaucoma, cornea, and pediatrics required - Required
