Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse Position Overview
Schedule: 4x10.0 hour shifts, Day/Evening/Night Rotating Shift Schedule

Department Description
- Fast-paced pre/post interventional radiology department in a level 1 Trauma center
- Cater to inpatient and outpatient populations across the lifespan
- Work within a multidisciplinary team
- Responsible for pre-procedural preparation of patients and post procedural recovery and overnight observation care
- Experience with GI post procedural care is preferred but not required
- Exciting opportunity for nurses who want to work in the high energy environment of Diagnostic Imaging
- Specialize in providing care for patients undergoing CT scans, MRIs, Nuclear Medicine scans, X-ray and ultrasound
- Good communication skills, as well as the ability to critically think are essential
- Ideal for team oriented, enthusiastic, flexible and organized professionals
- Medical/Surgical and telemetry experience preferred
- RN responsible for pre/post and 23hr care for IR patients
- Care for patients boarding overnight pre or post procedure
- 2 years' Registered IR Nursing experience
- Telemetry Experience Required
- New York RN license (ONLY)
- BLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
- ACLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
- RN License (New York ONLY)
- BLS (AHA ONLY)
- Two (2) years experience
- ACLS (AHA ONLY)
- Telemetry Experience Required
