Description:
Interventional Radiology/Diagnostic Imaging RN Position Schedule Details
- 3x12 hour shifts
- Friday - Sunday, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
- Floating assignment
- Holiday and weekend coverage
- On call/callback responsibilities
- Charge duties per unit needs
- 13 or 17 week assignments available
- Fast-paced pre/post interventional radiology department in a Level 1 Trauma center
- Serve inpatient and outpatient populations across the lifespan
- Work within a multidisciplinary team environment
- Responsible for pre-procedural preparation of patients and post procedural recovery and overnight observation care
- Experience with GI post procedural care preferred but not required
- High energy environment of Diagnostic Imaging
- Specialize in providing care for patients undergoing CT scans, MRIs, Nuclear Medicine scans, X-ray and ultrasound
- RN responsible for pre/post and 23hr care for IR patients
- Care for patients boarding overnight pre or post procedure
- Good communication skills
- Ability to critically think
- Team oriented
- Enthusiastic
- Flexible
- Organized
- 2 years' Registered IR Nursing experience
- Telemetry Experience Required
- Medical/Surgical and telemetry experience preferred
- New York RN license (ONLY)
- BLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
- ACLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
