Position Overview

Description:
Apheresis Registered Nurse - Full Time Position Details
- Full-time position (40 hours per week)
- Monday through Friday schedule
- Five 8-hour shifts
- Coordinate and perform blood component procedures such as cell collections and plasma exchanges
- Provide care for both ambulatory and inpatients
- Collaborate with various healthcare team members throughout the hospital
- Independently coordinate patient care
- Work within a small care team
- Assume charge nurse role responsibilities
- Actively participate in unit/service activities
- Support co-workers and assess unit needs
- NY RN License
- BLS certification from AHA
- Telemetry experience
- 1 year of Apheresis experience
- 1 year of inpatient care experience
- Experience with Optia machines
- Experience with Cellex machines
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Flexibility and adaptability
- Excellent organizational abilities
- Excellent IV skills
