Position Overview
Type of Position: Local
Description: Must work a minimum requirement of 16 hours per week
RN Supervisor - All Shifts Available Schedule
- Full Time, Part Time and PRN
- EOW and Holiday required
- Must be able to start full shift orientation on a Tuesday or Thursday
Required Qualifications
- PA RN Licensure
- BLS (AHA or RQI required)
- 1 year experience as RN
- Experience serving in an RN capacity at LTC Facility - 1 year required
Position Overview
- As an RN Supervisor, you will play a key leadership role in ensuring exceptional patient care and smooth daily operations.
- The individual must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development of the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his or her age-specific needs
- Must provide the care needed by adult and geriatric patient group
- Provide clinical oversight and guidance to nursing staff
- Maintains a collaborative relationship with other nursing staff, physicians, and ancillary staff
- Maintains an appropriate level of knowledge and clinical expertise through continuing education and Inservice programs
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards
Job Duties
- Provide clinical oversight and guidance to nursing staff and support, mentor, and develop team members
- Contributes to the creation of a developmentally age appropriate and culturally relevant plan of resident care reflecting nursing diagnosis and interventions to achieve desired resident outcomes involving the resident/family and healthcare team in this process while promoting a healthy, safe environment
- Recommends revisions to the plan of care, after evaluation of resident outcomes and indicates the need for referrals to ensure all aspects of the resident's care have been addressed. Collaborates with the resident/family and members of the Interdisciplinary Team within the scope of nursing practice assuring customer satisfaction
- Maintains current clinical knowledge and serves as a role model for nursing staff. Oversees mentoring and orientation while promoting professional development. Ensures safe, high-quality, and cost-effective patient care. Provides strong leadership, sound clinical judgment, and accountability within the practice setting.
