Description:
Psychiatric Technician - Rotating Shifts Shift Details • D/E/N Rotating Shift Schedule • Holidays, Weekends, On Call • Call back per unit needs • 36 hours (may consider 48) • 3x12.0 shifts Position Overview • Looking for a compassionate team player to be involved in direct care and clinical services to in-patient psychiatric patients on an individual basis • Activities such as daily living, social and psychiatric rehabilitation as directed by the RN • Communicate with patient effectively and ensure they have access to required services • Inform RN of any patient changes • Participate in rounds and group therapy as needed Requirements • 2 years of recent experience • BLS from AHA • AAS degree in psychology or sociology required • CPI required - preferred blue card, MUST include hands-on training Required Skills • 2 years of experience as psych tech • BLS certification • Associate's Degree in Psychology or Sociology • CPI - blue card preferred - must include hands on training
