This is a Travel position. You must live more than 30 miles from the facility to be considered for this position.

Psychiatric Technician Position Schedule Details
  • 3x12.0 hour shifts
  • D/E/N Rotating Shift Schedule
  • Holidays, Weekends, On Call, Call back per unit needs
  • 36 hours (may consider 48)
Position Overview
  • Looking for a compassionate team player to be involved in direct care and clinical services to in-patient psychiatric patients on an individual basis
  • Activities include daily living, social and psychiatric rehabilitation as directed by the RN
  • Communicate with patient effectively and ensure they have access to required services
  • Inform RN of any patient changes
  • Participate in rounds and group therapy as needed
Requirements
  • 2 years of recent experience
  • BLS from AHA
  • AAS degree in psychology or sociology required
Required Skills and Experience
  • 2 years of experience as psych tech - Required
  • BLS (American Heart Association ONLY) - Required
  • Associate's Degree in Psychology or Sociology - Required
