Pediatric Operating Room Surgical Technologist Position Overview
- 12 hours, D/E/N ROTATING SHIFT SCHEDULES
- Weekends/Holidays/On-Call/Callback/Charge per Unit Needs
Job Duties
- Be a part of a multidisciplinary team that cares for pediatric patients across the age continuum
- Work with specialties including general surgery, urology, dental, OMFS, neurosurgery, plastics, burns, ENT, and orthopaedics
- Must be a Certified Surgical Technician or meet NYS requirements to be grandfathered into Public Health law 2824
- Pediatric experience is helpful
Job Requirements
- Tech License (NY License ONLY)
- Two (2) years Experience OR experience in a level 1 trauma preferred
- Able to scrub and circulate
- Pediatric Experience preferred
Certification(s)
- BLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
Skills
- Tech License (NY License ONLY) - Required
- BLS Certification (American Heart Association ONLY) - Required
- Two (2) Years Experience - Required
- OR experience in a level 1 trauma preferred and able to scrub preferred - Required
