What You Can Expect
- Consistent daytime hours, Monday through Friday
Your schedule will be 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM with no nights, weekends, or major holidays required. This structure promotes work-life balance in a way most surgical roles cannot. - Strong pay and long-term opportunity
Compensation is $29 per hour. - Multi-specialty experience
While your primary focus will be ophthalmology, you'll have the opportunity to cross-train into other surgical specialties. This expands your skill set and keeps your workday varied and professionally enriching. - Positive, high-standard work culture

What You Will Be Doing
- Prepare for scheduled surgical procedures, including organizing sterile instrument tables and setting up the OR according to case type
- Assist orthopedics and other specialty surgeons during procedures by passing instruments, holding retractors, and managing surgical supplies
- Clean and maintain the operating room post-procedure and properly handle instrument sterilization and storage
- Cross-train into multiple surgery services to support the wider surgical team when needed
- Provide appropriate care for patients ranging in age from six months through adulthood
- Communicate effectively with the clinical director, nurses, anesthesia providers, and physicians to ensure seamless, safe surgical care
What We Are Looking For
- At least two years of hands-on experience as a Surgical Technician in a hospital or ambulatory setting
- Strong familiarity with ophthalmology procedures and comfort assisting in a range of surgical settings
- Competence in sterile technique, surgical support, and instrument processing
- A professional, team-oriented mindset with a commitment to safety and excellence in patient care
- Certification is not required for this position, but solid clinical experience is essential
