About the Role:
Are you a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant looking to make an impact in patient care? You will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and positive experience for patients. From drawing blood to performing EKGs, your expertise will be vital in providing high-quality care.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
  • Conducting routine medical assistant tasks, including accurately recording vitals in the EMR (blood pressure, pulse, temperature, height, and weight).
  • Performing blood draws and specimen collection with precision and adherence to infection control protocols.
  • Performing EKGs and basic diagnostic tests (e.g., glucose finger sticks, INR tests).
  • Supporting patients during transitions in and out of wheelchairs, toilets, beds, or other equipment as needed.
  • Assisting physicians during examinations, setting up and cleaning equipment.
  • Providing translation services when needed (Bilingual in Mandarin, Cantonese or Fuzhounesei preferred).
  • Assisting with front desk tasks, customer issues, and coordinating follow-up visits and transportation.
Who You Are:
  • A Certified Medical Assistant with phlebotomy and EKG certification.
  • Skilled in venipuncture with at least 1 year of experience (experience with elderly populations preferred).
  • Friendly, empathetic, and patient-centered, with a strong commitment to customer service.
  • Organized and adaptable, thriving in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bilingual skills in Mandarin, Cantonese or Fuzhounesei are a plus!
What You Bring:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Medical technician training.
  • Proficiency with EMR systems and other basic computer skills.
  • Physical ability to assist patients and perform daily tasks.
Work Schedule:
  • Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (40 hours per week).
  • Occasional weekends as needed.
