Description:
MRI Technologist Position Schedule & Shift Details • Saturday and Sunday 6:30am-7:00pm (2x12 hour shifts) • Full time 40 hours required for the first 2 weeks before beginning solo weekend shift starting 9/6-7 • Flexibility required to work day and/or evenings during orientation period Position Summary • Join our team as an MRI Technologist in a healthcare environment • Operate MRI machines efficiently while ensuring patient comfort • Coordinate with physicians to deliver timely diagnostic imaging results • Work with medical terminology and stand for extended periods Duties and Responsibilities • Maintain a clean and safe scanning facility • Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging • Prepare patients for scans and explain the procedure to help them feel comfortable • Document all procedures while maintaining the confidentiality of patient information • Patient care tasks as needed Required Qualifications • Associate degree in magnetic resonance imaging or radiology • Two (2) Years' Experience • BLS (American Heart Association ONLY) • MUST HAVE GE or Siemens MRI SCANNER EXPERIENCE TO BE CONSIDERED Preferred Qualifications • Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is a plus • Certification through the ARRT or a similar organization (preferred) - must be willing to obtain this after starting Equipment Experience Required • All Non-Contrast exams • Routine MSK • Neuro • Spine • Occasional body MRI
