Position Details
Position: Licensed Vocational Nurse
Location: Terrell, Texas
Rate: $42.50/hr for weekday and $45/hr for weekend
Assignment Length: 6-month contract
Schedule: Sunday through Saturday
Shifts: Alternating shifts based on staffing needs
Available Shifts

• 6:45 AM – 3:15 PM
• 2:45 PM – 11:15 PM
• 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Candidates may be able to start on any day of the week, provided at least five days are available to complete required pre-employment processing.
Position Overview
We are seeking experienced Licensed Vocational Nurses to provide nursing care to individuals with complex medical, mental health, and behavioral health needs.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing patient care, administering medications and treatments, educating patients regarding their medications, and completing required documentation. This position offers an opportunity to use your nursing skills in a specialized healthcare environment while supporting the overall care and well-being of your patients.
Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients with complex medical, mental health, and behavioral health needs
• Administer medications and treatments
• Provide medication education to patients
• Complete required patient care documentation
• Perform computer data entry
• Complete training on required computer systems
• Follow established procedures and standards related to patient care
• Maintain compliance with applicable healthcare policies, standards, rules, and directives

Requirements

• Valid Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
• Strong patient care and communication skills
• Ability to work with individuals who have complex medical, mental health, and behavioral health needs
• Ability to work a variety of shifts based on staffing needs
• Willingness to complete all required training and onboarding requirements
