Description:
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Long Term Care Shift Details
- Shift options: Days / Evenings / Nights
- Shift length: 12-hour shifts
- Local candidates accepted
- Provide care for older adults in a long term care environment
- Responsible for approximately 8-10 residents per LPN
- Resident population is geriatric long term care
- Wound care is included; no trachs
- No acute care needs present in the facility
- Direct patient care
- Medication administration
- Oversight of CNA colleagues
- Provide care with dignity and respect
- Good critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a long term care setting
- Active NYS LPN license (New York State only)
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA only)
- LPN License - New York State only
- BLS - American Heart Association only
- Two (2) years' experience in Long Term Care
