Description:
LPN - Long Term Care | Rochester, NY Shift Details
- 3x12-hour shifts
- Day/Evening/Night rotating shift schedules
- Weekends, Holidays, On-Call, and Callback required per unit needs
- Local candidates accepted
- Opportunity to provide care for older adults in a long term care environment
- Responsible for direct patient care including medication administration
- Oversight of CNA colleagues
- Ratio of 8-10 residents per LPN
- Total of 20 residents on the unit
- Resident population is geriatric long term care
- Wound care is included; no trachs
- No acute care needs present in the facility
- Good critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently
- Provides care with dignity and respect
- NYS LPN license (New York State license only)
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association only
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a long term care setting
