Medical Office Administrative Support - Colorectal Surgery Practice Assignment Overview
- Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
- Schedule: Monday - Friday
- Assignment Type: Temporary Contract
- Duration: 8 Weeks
- Program: Local Contract Allied Health
- Location: Doylestown, PA
- Answer and manage incoming patient phone calls, voicemails, and email inquiries in a professional and timely manner
- Schedule patient appointments and coordinate provider calendars
- Collect, review, and organize medical records and supporting documentation
- Track referrals and ensure appropriate follow-up and documentation
- Monitor and respond to phone messages, patient communications, and email correspondence
- Upload and manage patient images, records, and other clinical documentation within designated systems
- Maintain accurate patient information and records
- Perform additional administrative and operational duties as assigned
- 30-minute Microsoft Teams interview (on camera required)
- Must be able to commute to the practice location within 30 minutes
- All compliance documentation is due on the Wednesday before the start date
- Candidates must be ready to begin the compliance process immediately upon accepting the award
- Medicals and drug screens must be started within 72 hours of accepting the award
- Candidates who do not start this requirement within 72 hours are at risk of the contract being cancelled
- HIPAA Module (approximately 15 minutes)
- 4-Day PennChart Scheduling training for PSRs — held onsite on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Must pass a test at the end of training
- Retakes are available if unable to pass on the first attempt
