Clinical Services Associate (CSA) - Medical Assistant / Patient Services Representative Assignment Type
- Temporary position covering FMLA leave
- Potential to convert to permanent for the right candidate
- Monroe Internal Medicine
- 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM or 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
- Virtual, on-camera interview via Microsoft Teams
- The Clinical Services Associate (CSA) assists the practice manager and physicians in maintaining a patient/customer focus
- Supports the delivery of high-quality care
- Shares a passion for patient and customer-centered care
- Assists in meeting or exceeding patient satisfaction and financial/operational targets
- Supports the practice by performing both clinical and administrative duties as a Medical Assistant (MA) and as a Patient Services Representative (PSR)
- The practice will determine, based on operational needs, how much time will be spent in each capacity (MA and PSR)
- Perform EKGs
- Administer injections
- Room patients
- Handle patient phone calls
- Book appointments
- Provide front desk coverage as needed
- Other responsibilities as assigned
- 5-hour EMR training on the Friday prior to start date
- 15-minute HIPAA training module
- 4-day scheduling training a few weeks after start
- Epic experience is a plus for this practice
- Compliance is due the Wednesday before the start date
- Candidates must be ready to begin the compliance process immediately upon accepting the offer
- Medicals and drug screens must be started within 72 hours of accepting the award
- Candidates who do not begin this requirement within 72 hours are at risk of the contract being cancelled
