Medical Assistant - Cancer Center | Temp-to-Hire Opportunity Position Overview
- Temp-to-hire position — candidates must be interested in converting to permanent staff
- Pay rate will not exceed $22/hour during the contract period
- Full-time conversion pay rate is approximately $21-$22/hour
- Full-time employees receive 9 paid holidays per year, 100+ hours of PTO per year, and very generous benefits, education opportunities, career growth, retirement savings, and more
- Monday through Friday
- 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM with a 30-minute lunch break
- Berwyn, PA area — Cancer Center location
- Local candidates only — must be able to commute to the practice within 30 minutes
- This location is not accessible by public transportation
- Candidates must have a valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle
- Minimum of 18 months of Medical Assistant experience
- Must have completed a Medical Assistant program recognized by the hiring facility
- EPIC experience required
- Must be able to commute to the practice within 30 minutes
- Must have access to a vehicle and a valid driver's license
- Bilingual candidates will be given first consideration
- Performing EKGs
- Taking vital signs
- Updating patient charts
- Rooming patients
- Answering messages and the clinical phone line
- Assisting with stress tests as needed
- Cancer Center setting — candidates must be comfortable working with cancer patients
- Must be compassionate, patient, friendly, and kind
- Must have a strong work ethic
- Must be able to learn quickly and adapt in ambiguous situations
- 4-hour chart training session held on Fridays
- Interviews will be conducted in person
