Medical Assistant - Multi-Specialty Practice Local Contract | Allied Health | Temp to Perm
Shift Details
- Monday through Friday
- 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM or 7:45 AM - 4:15 PM
- Candidates must be available to work either schedule based on practice needs
Practice Overview
- Multi-Specialty practice setting
Responsibilities & Skills
- Rooming patients
- Taking vitals
- Chart preparation
- Point-of-care testing (POCT), including:
- Urine
- Flu/Strep
- Blood glucose
Interview Details
- Virtual, on-camera interview via Microsoft Teams
Training
- 4-hour EMR training on Wednesday, 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM (includes a 1-hour break)
- EPIC experience is a plus for this practice
Compliance Requirements
- Compliance documentation is due the Wednesday before the start date
- Candidates must be ready to begin the compliance process immediately upon accepting the award
- Medicals and drug screens must be started within 72 hours of accepting the award
- Candidates who do not begin this requirement within 72 hours are at risk of the contract being cancelled
