Medical Assistant (MA) - Cardiology Outpatient Practice Location
- Berwyn, PA
- Candidates should be able to commute to this location in 30 minutes or less
- Traffic is always a factor when commuting in the Philadelphia area and suburbs
- Local Contract - Allied Health
- Temp to Perm - candidates must be interested in converting to a permanent position
- 9 paid holidays per year

- Structured shift: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
- Work hours will range between 6:45 AM and 6:00 PM
- Tuesdays have extended hours until 8:00 PM
- The MA must work until the physician has completed care for all patients and may need to stay beyond their scheduled end time when needed
- Schedules are adjusted as needed in cases of shifts worked over 8 hours
- The practice manager releases shift schedules one week in advance
- The Medical Assistant (MA) assists the practice manager and physicians in maintaining a patient/customer focus
- Supports the delivery of high-quality care
- Shares a passion for patient- and customer-centered care
- Assists in meeting or exceeding patient satisfaction and financial/operational targets
- Provides patient care through performance of patient preparation, interviewing, technical tasks, and patient/family communication
- Must need minimal training and be able to contribute to the practice immediately
- Previous Epic experience preferred
- Two rounds of interviews:
- Round 1: Virtual (Microsoft Teams)
- Round 2: In-person
- 4-hour EMR training held on Fridays
- Training is conducted virtually
- Compliance is due on the Wednesday before the start date
- Candidates must be ready to begin the compliance process immediately upon accepting the award
- Medicals and drug screens must be started within 72 hours of accepting the award
- Candidates who do not start this requirement within 72 hours are at risk of having their contract cancelled
