Medical Assistant - Primary Care (Temp-to-Perm) Position Overview
- Temp-to-Perm opportunity
- Program: Local Contract Allied Health
- Primary Care practice in Plumsteadville, PA 18949
- Monday through Friday
- Weekly schedule will include one late shift of 11:45 AM - 8:15 PM
- All other shifts will be 7:45 AM - 4:15 PM or 8:00 AM - 4:45 PM
- Schedules are available two weeks out
- Interview conducted via Microsoft Teams
- Room patients
- Patient calls
- Booking appointments
- Other responsibilities as assigned
- 5-hour EPIC training held on a Friday during the onboarding process, 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM with a break
- 15-minute HIPAA training module also required during onboarding
- EPIC experience is a plus for this practice
- All compliance documents are due on the Wednesday before the start date
- Candidates must be ready to begin the compliance process immediately upon accepting the position
- Medicals and drug screens must be started within 72 hours of accepting the award
- Candidates who do not begin this requirement within 72 hours are at risk of the contract being cancelled
