Your Responsibilities Will Include:
  • Patient Care: Prepare and instruct patients for exams, ensuring they feel at ease. Assist the Radiologist during procedures to deliver optimal care.
  • High-Quality Imaging: Use your technical skills to position patients and select exposure factors, ensuring diagnostic-quality radiologic images.
  • Collaborative Teamwork: Work closely with other team members to maintain efficient room turnover, assist others when needed, and contribute to a smooth, well-organized department.
  • Safety and Compliance: Follow strict protocols to maintain medication security, patient confidentiality, and adhere to all safety guidelines in patient care.
  • Documentation & Information Management: Utilize Hospital Information Systems (HIS), Radiology Information System (RIS), and PACS to maintain accurate records and contribute to hospital performance improvement initiatives.
What We’re Looking For:
  • BLS Certification (American Heart Association ONLY)
  • Two years of experience as an Interventional Radiology Rad Tech
  • New York State License (or ability to obtain prior to start)
  • Preferred: VIR Certification (not required, but a plus)
