- Patient Care: Prepare and instruct patients for exams, ensuring they feel at ease. Assist the Radiologist during procedures to deliver optimal care.
- High-Quality Imaging: Use your technical skills to position patients and select exposure factors, ensuring diagnostic-quality radiologic images.
- Collaborative Teamwork: Work closely with other team members to maintain efficient room turnover, assist others when needed, and contribute to a smooth, well-organized department.
- Safety and Compliance: Follow strict protocols to maintain medication security, patient confidentiality, and adhere to all safety guidelines in patient care.
- Documentation & Information Management: Utilize Hospital Information Systems (HIS), Radiology Information System (RIS), and PACS to maintain accurate records and contribute to hospital performance improvement initiatives.
- BLS Certification (American Heart Association ONLY)
- Two years of experience as an Interventional Radiology Rad Tech
- New York State License (or ability to obtain prior to start)
- Preferred: VIR Certification (not required, but a plus)

Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
