Your Responsibilities
- Patient Evaluation and Treatment: Assess patient needs, create tailored treatment plans, and deliver direct care.
- Collaboration: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, participate in family meetings, and communicate patient progress.
- Professional Growth: Access continuing education and growth opportunities to expand your expertise.
- Documentation: Keep accurate and compliant records, ensuring continuity and quality of care.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology
- Licensure: Current NY State License and Certificate of Clinical Competence
- Experience: Skilled nursing or similar setting experience is preferred
- Skills: Strong communication, patient-centered care approach, and adaptability to diverse clinical settings
- Must be able to perform patient transfers and assist in emergency situations
- Be prepared to work with patients of varied physical and cognitive needs in a supportive and resilient environment
