Your Role as RN Unit Manager
As the RN Unit Manager, you will:
  • Maintain nursing guidelines by developing and updating policies and procedures.
  • Oversee resident care by scheduling and assigning nursing staff effectively.
  • Foster a compassionate environment, providing support to residents and their families.
  • Serve as a resource, providing vital information to residents and the healthcare team.
  • Ensure a safe and clean working environment for staff and residents alike.
  • Protect resident confidentiality by carefully managing information processing.
  • Document resident care services accurately and timely.
  • Maintain nursing supplies inventory to ensure efficient operations.
  • Cultivate strong, cooperative relationships among healthcare teams.
  • Develop individualized comprehensive care plans tailored to each resident's needs.
  • Supervise nursing staff and maintain the overall facility environment.
What You Bring to the Table
  • Valid New York State RN License: Required to practice as a Registered Nurse.
  • Experience: Long-term care experience is preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Basic computer skills to manage documentation and care plans.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities to interact effectively with residents, families, and team members.
  • Team Player: A willingness to collaborate and work as part of a dedicated team.
