What You’ll Be Doing:
In this exciting role, you’ll be part of a collaborative, interdisciplinary team focused on caring for a diverse range of patients, including those recovering from strokes, brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, trauma, orthopedics, neuro conditions, oncology treatments, pediatric conditions, solid organ transplants, heart failure, and other complex medical issues.
You’ll have the opportunity to:
- Provide clinical and emotional support to both patients and their families.
- Work with a varied patient population, each day offering something new.
- Contribute to helping patients regain their independence and improve their quality of life.
- 2 years of Med-Surg experience to bring your expertise to the role.
- Current NYS RN license to practice in New York.
- AHA BLS certification.
- Telemetry experience is required.
- PALS/PEARS certifications preferred.
- Recent pediatric experience is a plus!
- 36 hours/week with rotating shifts (Day/Eve/Night).
- 8-hour and 12-hour shifts, with holidays and weekends based on unit needs.
- You may be eligible for straight night shifts if preferred.
