About the Role: As a Psychiatric Technician, you will play a critical role in supporting patients in their daily living, social, and psychiatric rehabilitation. You'll work closely with RNs to ensure patients receive the care and attention they need, and actively participate in group therapy and patient rounds. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative, dynamic environment and is ready to make an immediate impact.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:
  • Providing direct care to psychiatric patients, focusing on daily living activities, rehabilitation, and overall well-being.
  • Communicating effectively with patients to ensure they are engaged and receive the support they need.
  • Informing RNs of any changes in patient status and participating in rounds and group therapy as necessary.
What You Need to Be Successful in This Role:
  • A minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a similar role.
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • An Associate’s Degree in Psychology or Sociology (or equivalent).
