$1,080 per Week | 13-Week Contract | Finger Lakes Region, NY
Position Type: Contract – Travel
Location: Finger Lakes Region, New York
Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Full-time, three 12-hour shifts per week
Hourly Rate: $28 per hour
Weekly Gross Pay: $1,008
Additional Compensation: Tax-free stipends available for qualifying travelers
Benefits: 401(k) with company match, medical benefits available

We are seeking a caring and dependable Nursing Assistant to join our team for a 13-week travel assignment in the Finger Lakes region of New York State. Key Responsibilities
- Assist with patient care activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and toileting
- Take and record vital signs, document care activities, and communicate observations to nursing staff
- Support patient nutrition by delivering meals, helping with feeding, and offering appropriate food choices
- Promote safety and comfort through timely responses to call lights, proper positioning, and fall prevention strategies
- Support mobility and rehabilitation efforts, including walking, transferring, range of motion exercises, and assistive devices
- Report any physical or emotional changes in patient condition promptly to nursing staff
- Collaborate effectively with nurses and the care team during shift changes to ensure consistent, high-quality care
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- BLS certification (must be from AHA or RQI)
- Post-secondary education in health or human services preferred
- One to two years of experience in a health-related or customer service role
- Strong interpersonal skills and a patient-centered approach
- Basic computer literacy and ability to document care accurately
- Local candidates may apply, but only non-local candidates are eligible for travel stipends
